Notes: Sunny 50 degrees. This map unit was separated from adjacent Freetown ponded soils by extent of grassy vegetation and proximity to stream. Vegetation species--wool grass, cattail, sawgrass, buttonbush.

A-- 0 to 16 inches; very dark gray (10YR 3/1) silt loam; weak medium subangular blocky structure; friable, slightly sticky and slightly plastic; 5.6 LaMotte-Morgan; gradual wavy boundary. mucky

C--16 to 20 inches; very dark grayish brown (2.5Y 3/2) silt loam; common medium faint dark grayish brown (2.5Y 4/2) mottles; massive; friable, slightly sticky and slightly plastic; 5.8 LaMotte-Morgan; clear smooth boundary.

2Cg1--20 to 30 inches; olive gray (5Y 5/2) sand; single grain; loose, nonsticky and nonplastic; 6.2 LaMotte-Morgan; 15 percent subrounded mixed gravel; clear wavy boundary.

2Cg2--30 to 42 inches; gray (5Y 6/1) loamy sand; massive; very friable, nonsticky and nonplastic; 6.2 LaMotte-Morgan; 5 percent subrounded mixed gravel.
