Ap--0 to 41 centimeters (0.0 to 16.1 inches); dark olive brown (2.5Y 3/3) loamy sand; very friable, noncemented, nonsticky, nonplastic; low excavation difficulty; 1 percent rounded 2- to 75-millimeter unspecified fragments; common fine and medium roots throughout, few medium and coarse roots throughout; abrupt smooth boundary.

Bw--41 to 69 centimeters (16.1 to 27.2 inches); (2.5Y 5/), loamy sand; very friable, noncemented, nonsticky, nonplastic; low excavation difficulty; 2 percent coarse cylindrical very dark grayish brown (10YR 3/2) worm casts with sharp boundaries in matrix; 1 percent rounded 2- to 75-millimeter unspecified fragments; few medium roots throughout; clear wavy boundary.
