Bw-- 9 to 18 inches; yellowish brown (10YR 5/6) loamy coarse sand; massive; very friable; common very fine and fine roots throughout; 5.4 Chlorophenol red; 5 percent rounded mixed gravel; clear wavy boundary. pH readings on dry samples; size of rock fragments equal 2mm - 1 inch

C1--18 to 30 inches; light olive brown (2.5Y 5/4) coarse sand; few medium prominent yellowish brown (10YR 5/8) mottles; single grain; loose; common very fine roots throughout; 5.8 Chlorophenol red; 7 percent rounded mixed gravel; abrupt wavy boundary. mottles in C1 widely separated (not continuous) mainly near interface; size of rock fragments equal 2mm - 1 inch; pH readings on dry samples

2C1--30 to 38 inches; light yellowish brown (2.5Y 6/4) very fine sandy loam; few medium distinct olive yellow (2.5Y 6/6) mottles; massive; friable; common medium roots throughout and common very fine throughout; 5.8 Chlorophenol red; gradual wavy boundary. mottling at interface F2D 2.5Y 6/6; matrix equals 2.5Y 6/4; not found below 2 inches of interface at 30 inches; pH readings on dry samples; size of rock fragments equal 2mm - 1 inch
