Ap-- 0 to 12 inches; dark brown (10YR 3/3) fine sandy loam; weak fine and medium granular structure; friable; common very fine roots throughout; 6.4 LaMotte-Morgan; common cylindrical; 2 percent subangular mixed cobbles and 5 percent subangular mixed gravel; abrupt smooth boundary. (11 to 14 inches;12 inches)

Bw1--12 to 19 inches; light olive brown (2.5Y 5/6) sandy loam; weak fine and medium angular blocky structure; friable; common very fine roots throughout; 6.2 LaMotte-Morgan; few cylindrical; 10 percent subangular mixed gravel and 2 percent subangular mixed cobbles; clear wavy boundary.( 6 to 9 inches; 7 inches)

Bw2--19 to 27 inches; light olive brown (2.5Y 5/4) sandy loam; few fine prominent dark reddish brown (5YR 3/4), few medium faint grayish brown (2.5Y 5/2), and common fine and medium distinct yellowish brown (10YR 5/8) mottles; weak fine and medium angular blocky structure; firm; common very fine roots throughout; 6.2 LaMotte-Morgan; few cylindrical; 18 percent subangular mixed gravel and 2 percent subangular mixed cobbles; clear wavy boundary.
