Oi-- 2 to 0 inches; fibric material; 44.0 Chlorophenol red; abrupt smooth boundary.

A-- 0 to 1 inches; black (10YR 2/1) fine sandy loam; weak fine granular structure; loose; 50.0 Chlorophenol red; abrupt broken boundary.

Bw1-- 1 to 8 inches; brown (10YR 4/3) fine sandy loam; few fine prominent strong brown (7.5YR 5/8) mottles; massive; very friable; common coarse roots throughout and common fine and medium throughout; 52.0 Chlorophenol red; 10 percent subangular cobbles and 5 percent subangular gravel; clear wavy boundary.

Bw2-- 8 to 18 inches; dark yellowish brown (10YR 4/6) sandy loam; common fine and medium prominent strong brown (7.5YR 5/6) mottles; weak medium subangular blocky structure; friable; common medium roots throughout and common very fine and fine throughout; 52.0 Chlorophenol red; 10 percent subangular gravel and 5 percent subangular cobbles; abrupt smooth boundary. Hi. chroma mottles in Bw2 horizon are along root channels.

Cd1--18 to 33 inches; 30 percent dark yellowish brown (10YR 4/4) and 40 percent brown (10YR 5/3) sandy loam; common coarse prominent light brownish gray (2.5Y 6/2) and common medium prominent (5YR 4/8) mottles; weak medium and coarse platy structure; very firm, brittle; common very fine roots in cracks; 53.0 Chlorophenol red; 10 percent subangular cobbles and 15 percent subangular gravel; gradual wavy boundary. Cd1 vertical root channel (2" wide), low chroma color surrounding.

Cd2--33 to 46 inches; brown (10YR 5/3) sandy loam; common coarse prominent (5YR 4/8) and common coarse distinct light brownish gray (10YR 6/2) mottles; weak medium and coarse platy structure; firm; 53.0 Chlorophenol red; 10 percent subangular gravel and 15 percent subangular cobbles and 5 percent angular stones; gradual wavy boundary. Cd2 - 3 areas (scattered) of ortstine around rock fragments.

Cd3--46 to 65 inches; grayish brown (2.5Y 5/2) sandy loam; common medium prominent dark reddish brown (5YR 3/4) mottles; massive; firm; 53.0 Chlorophenol red; 10 percent subangular cobbles and 20 percent subangular gravel. Cd2-3 areas (scattered) of ortstine around rock fragments. Cd3 - hard pan is weakly expressed in areas.
