Ap-- 0 to 9 inches; very dark grayish brown (10YR 3/2) loam; moderate medium and coarse granular structure; friable; common very fine and fine roots throughout; 5.3 LaMotte-Morgan; 10 percent subangular mixed gravel and 2 percent subangular mixed cobbles; abrupt smooth boundary. Channers - dark mineralogy

 

Bw1-- 9 to 14 inches; dark yellowish brown (10YR 4/4) loam; weak fine and medium subangular blocky structure; friable; common very fine roots throughout; 5.3 LaMotte-Morgan; 10 percent subangular mixed gravel and 2 percent subangular mixed cobbles and 1 percent subangular mixed stones; clear wavy boundary. Common worm channels - 10YR 3/2; channers - dark mineralogy.

 

Bw2--14 to 19 inches; light olive brown (2.5Y 5/4) loam; weak fine and medium subangular blocky structure; friable; common very fine roots throughout; 5.4 LaMotte-Morgan; 10 percent subangular mixed gravel and 2 percent subangular mixed cobbles and 1 percent subangular mixed stones; clear wavy boundary. Bc--19 to 21 inches; light olive brown (2.5Y 5/4) gravelly loam; few fine distinct gray (10YR 6/1) and common fine distinct strong brown (7.5YR 4/6) mottles; weak medium and coarse platy structure; friable, slightly sticky and slightly plastic; common very fine roots throughout; 5.8 LaMotte-Morgan; 5 percent subangular mixed gravel and 2 percent subangular mixed cobbles and 1 percent subangular mixed stones; abrupt wavy boundary. Cd1--21 to 33 inches; light olive brown (2.5Y 5/4) loam; common fine and medium faint light brownish gray (2.5Y 6/2), common fine prominent yellowish brown (10YR 5/6), and few fine distinct yellowish red (5YR 4/6) mottles; weak medium and coarse platy structure; firm, slightly sticky and slightly plastic; 5.8 LaMotte-Morgan; 10 percent subangular mixed gravel and 1 percent subangular mixed cobbles and 1 percent subangular mixed stones; clear wavy boundary. Manganese stains (few) 5YR 2.5/1; possible silt loam; channers - dark mineralogy.

 

Cd2--33 to 48 inches; light brownish gray (2.5Y 6/2) gravelly loam; common medium and coarse faint light olive brown (2.5Y 5/3) and common fine and medium distinct yellowish red (5YR 4/6) mottles; weak medium and coarse platy structure; firm, slightly sticky and slightly plastic; 5.9 LaMotte-Morgan; 5 percent subangular mixed gravel and 1 percent subangular mixed cobbles and 1 percent subangular mixed stones. possible silt loam; manganese stains (few) 5YR 2.5/1; channers - dark mineralogy.
